I had gone with my parents for a vacation, can you guess where? Yes, Goa. I had gone to Goa in my summer vacation. We took a flight to Goa in the morning at 9 am and reached our hotel at 11 am. The first thing I did was to change into my summer themed bikini and headed to the beach. When we reached our destination, the beach was filled with loud noises of children who were playing. There was an elongated line for ice – cream since it was scorching hot. Everyone enjoys ice Lollies when it is sweltering hot. So I got one each for my parents and for myself too.

After I finished my finger licking ice -lolly, I went to get my beach toys from the car. As soon as I got back I started collecting sea shells of different sizes, vibrant colours and shapes too. Some shells I found were the worm snail, sundial shell and mussel shell. Next up on my bucket list was to find tide pools and explore the creatures that live inside. I came upon an enormous tide pool filled with many sea creatures. The fist thing that caught my eye was a stone crab eating algae from a rock. I saw dragon fish, echinoderms, sea urchins and plenty of barnacles. After a while I started building a castle with my mother and father. I was building my moat and carried a toy bucket to the sea filled the moat with water and suddenly the foamy wave destroyed my majestic castle. In one swift move the wave washed away my effort. I angrily gazed at the sea and noticed the bubbly foam. I wondered if someone had accidentally spilt detergent into the sea. Since I was feeling lethargic I lay down on the golden sandy beach.I could hear a flock of White Sea gulls cackling and waves breaking on the beach. An hour later my parents and I took a stroll on the sea shore, and something unusual happened. I could feel something weird whenever I spoke. My dad asked me to stick my tongue out and I could taste the salt in the air. The breeze was carrying the evaporated salty air from the sea. As the day progressed the sky changed its colours to various shades of orange, yellow and gold. After taking in the picturesque sunset we returned to the hotel. It was a tiring yet enjoyable day.
