I have a belief that Santa is real. 

But is he for real?

How do I know whether my belief is true? 

I ponder and wonder what could be right. 

Maybe it’s just me that is causing all the fright.

My parents make me bewildered cause my dad says it’s true,

mama says no it’s just a myth, oh what will I do?

The Christmas trees, decorations and spending time together make me pleased

But I require some stunning gifts neatly aligned under my flamboyant tree decorated with sparkly beads

Santa keeps track of children who are naughty, nice and sweet

I can’t spoil my impression just before with Christmas  gifts he leaves 

Underneath my tree if there are no gifts I will be in intense grief.

I am not greedy but who doesn’t like  to receive presents, 

Thank you Saint Nicholas for all the excitement

I still have this question in my mind. Is Santa for real?

On Christmas morning it will be answered 

And rather pleased I want to feel.
