Mystical mauritius

What an amazing trip I had! This beautiful island Mauritius is like a paradise on planet Earth. With its vibrant landscapes, palm fringed beaches and crystal clear waters, It is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.

The moment we landed, we cleared immigration and dashed to the resort. The resort was exotic with three swimming pools. I dumped my luggage and went to sleep. Late evening, I took multiple dips in the freezing water.

The first two days we explored the pristine beaches Flic en Flac and Grand Baie. The Sunset view was breathtaking. I was mesmerised seeing shades of amber merging with azure waters. We captured these moments in our cameras. This island is much more than beaches. Casella Nature Park was a treat to my my eyes. Walking on the sturdy bamboo bridge made me feel like a nature explorer. The gushing stream beneath was beautiful.

One of the highlights of the trip was the Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth. It looked like a painting on a canvas, but it was a bumpy landscape in shades. of purple and pink.

The white giant water lilies in the botanical garden created a calming ambience. I liked the slow pace of of time here. I got a lot of quality time to spend with my family. Board games, deep conversations and shared laughter were the moments of bonding and connecting. The only thing I missed on the trip was snorkelling. I did feel low, nevertheless, I am going to come back again for a dive.

As I peered through the airplane window I waved goodbye to the rainbow city. I am back with lots of memories and tan. These memories are archived on my digital diary…..
